JUDIT CSÁKI PhD. is a theatre critic, editor, translator, journalist, university lecturer. Author of innumerable articles, essays and interviews in different (print and online) periodicals; editor and co-editor of many books on theatre and other themes (e.g. Shakespeare in London and Pest-Buda written by Gabriella Reuss, published in 2017; Genius Loci written by Péter György, published in 2007), writer of several books (Five National Years, The National Theatre led by Róbert Alföldi, 2013; Private Matter, 2015). Associate professor and chair of the Theatre Department at the University of Kaposvár until 2013. Lecturer at different universities. She was member of several juries at several festivals. Member of the Hungarian Theatre Critics' Association and the IATC. Committed reviewer and critic of the independent groups and experimental performances. Frequent visitor of international festivals held in the region. Founder and editor-in-chief of the popular critical website called Revizor since 2008.
